​To celebrate the work that our West Hendon youth ambassadors have contributed this last year we will be holding an online event to showcase their work. 
This event is open to all West Hendon residents and professionals

   TERM TIME ACTIVITIES


  •     Monday - Wednesday We are online and around your estate 
​
We are thankful to the national Lottery who have funded us to carry on the great work we started over the summer.
Now our Covid trained youth workers will continue to be available for young people living in West Hendon Grahame Park and surrounding areas both online and around your estates with lots of freebies to give away. If you see them out and about say hello they are friendly and always ready to listen to all young people and offer free help and support to you should you need it. 
You can also book fun and interactive online  Zoom meet ups with our team so please get in touch to make a booking at at time that suits you.

  • THURSDAY YOUTH FORUM @ WEST HENDON COMMUNITY HUB
​ Youth forum is on every Thursday @ 4 - 7pm at West Hendon Community Hub Gladwall House, Perryfield way, Hendon, NW9 7DZ is a programme aimed at young people living in west Hendon aged 8 - 16 years old. This is a pilot project which has been funded by West Hendon Community Trust. All young people involved will have the opportunity to experience different, workshops, activities and offsite trips in exchange for their honest feedback each week. This is a 20 week project finishing in December of 2020 which takes place. All the information gathered over this time will be used to create a permanent youth club on the estate for all the young people living there. 


  • FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH CLUB GRAHAME PARK
This session is open to all young people living on the Grahame Park Estate aged 8-16yrs old. Due to covid-19 youth club members will be divided into bubbles with allocated time slots. If you are a new and wish to attend these sessions please contact us and we can compete a registration form with you and allocate you a time slot.

Red Bubble - 4 - 5:30pm 

Yellow Bubble - 5:30 - 7pm

Green Bubble - 7 - 8:30pm 

All Bubbles have a maximum of 15 young people where possible we have also attempted to group young people by schools

  • FRIDAY NIGHT FEMALE FITNESS
THIS SESSION IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19

​This session is for young women aged 13+ living on the estate and surrounding areas. It is an inter-generational project for young girls and women on the estate to exercise and commune together. Class starts at 7.15 pm for one hour and there is a small fee of £2 per session with all equipment provided including water and light refreshments. This session is partly funded by Colindale Community Trust's health and well-being budget and if you want to take part come along on the day and register. This sessions runs throughout the year except on bank holidays, and is in the community centre directly opposite the youth hub​.


  • HOLIDAY CLUB 

Over the holiday and half term periods we provide holiday clubs for young people living in the NW9 area.
We remain open Monday - Friday during all holiday and half term breaks with the exception of the Christmas Holiday.
